Ever had that feeling when you're so looking forward about something then you just woke up one day and it's already done. You already know that cliche saying so I wouldn't say it anymore. The one with the "time flies" thing. But it is true though. Don't you just wish that when you're eating that tub of ice cream it would last like, I don't know, forever? Or that time when you play an extremely addicting RPG where you started playing while it's still dark and decides to take "breakfast" and wonders why hasn't the sun still came up when in reality it just went down and you've been playing for 12 hours non-stop.
This is the kind of feeling I'm having right when we all decided to end the last session of our Certified Voice Artist Program. It's kind of sad to say good bye to all of the acquaintances that you've made and the fun things you've all had. But like they say, all good things must come to an end. This has been a one-of-a-kind experience and the things that I have personally learned here will be stuck with me. Possibly until I'll have an amnesia or something.
For our last meeting, we all prepared for "The Big One". What's that you ask? Well it's what we all aspire to do and why most of us are all here in the first place. It's dubbing time! We were given a so much time for this to really work! I'm talking about 1 and a half hour! That's plenty right? *lol* But the thing is, that right there is the challenge. It all comes down to this. Everything we've learned since day one will be reflected on this dubbing session. Good thing, we've learned from the best. Of course, the Voice Master of the Philippines himself, Mr. Pocholo De Leon Gonzales who wholeheartedly pour his time and effort in bringing out the best in each and everyone of us and prepared us for this moment right here. The bad thing was, our internet connection is not really cooperating.
So as we proceeded to the activity our group managed to pull it off quite decently while some of the others really just nailed it. And to think that we only have 1 hour and 30 minutes preparing for this, just proves that all of the individuals that are in this program with me are such awesome, talented and passionate people and I it really feels great to be surrounded by them. That's why like I said, it's quite saddening that this program, well actually this bond, will need to come to an end...
BUT that is for the program. The wisdom has been imparted and friendships has been made. Now, the journey in being a true Certified Voice Artist begins. Everyone is excited for what the future with Creativoices and the Voice Master holds. So let me just rephrase what I said, it's not really the end, I think we've only just begun.
